Eric S. Cerino, PhD (He/Him)
Welcome to our lab website! I am an Assistant Professor in Northern Arizona University's Department of Psychological Sciences and Affiliate Faculty in NAU's Interdisciplinary Health PhD Program. I teach courses in adult development and aging and serve as a Community Educator for the Alzheimer's Association. Our Healthy Aging Lab is comprised of undergraduate and graduate students dedicated to promoting health and well-being across the adult lifespan, as well as age inclusivity in our community through local outreach and advocacy efforts. Alongside students and collaborators, my research program applies a lifespan developmental approach to study cognitive and emotional functioning in everyday life. My current research interests focus on the ways in which affect, control beliefs, and personality contribute to performance-based and self-reported indicators of cognitive health and aging.
